Well, arrived in St. John’s at 3:45pm (Newfoundland Time) yesterday, having been up for almost 20 hours at that point (I worked Tuesday night), then went to the hospital to visit Granny, then had dinner with one of my aunts.
Granny was… more responsive yesterday than she’d been since Saturday, so that was good.
Going out to lunch with the cousin who was in Toronto in the fall…

Grandmother had a massive stroke last week, and hasn’t woken up for about 4 days (she ended up with pneumonia on Saturday) so my sister and I are off to St. John’s. Don’t know how long we’ll be gone…
*sigh*
It will depend on the situation there.
Still, I will be glad to see the rest of the family…

Sorry I haven’t posted Chp. 2.2 of RuroBatt yet, but the boys have been determined to get more RuroSen done, and RuroBatt hasn’t been touched since last week…
I’m going to try to get more done on it this week, but whether I manage to or not will depend greatly on Saitô and Battôsai’s moods – and like I said, at the moment, they seem more interested in RuroSen…
No matter what happens, however, I will post Chp 2.2 by Friday afternoon (EDT).

Well, it’s a very pleasant day here – 17 Celsius, nicely warm (approximately 63 Fahrenheit, I believe). Went out to run an errand in short sleeves – very nice!
In terms of fic updates… *sigh* I should have learned with RuroBatt not to put up one chapter before I finished the next. News: The first chapter of RuroSen #1: A Strange Partnership has undergone a number of changes, some small, some (like the OCs’ names) not-so-small. I will be re-posting the edited version when I finish Chp. 2. (In which our favourite rurouni is currently being evil to a certain Wolf of Mibu… *g*)
Chapter 2, Pt. 2 of RuroBatt will be posted either tomorrow or Monday, depending on whether I get any more written tonight after they finish with RuroSen…

First of all, thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday – the wishes worked!
Celebrated by having dinner with the family who are here in Toronto – including my pregnant sister, visiting on the way between Costa Rica and St. John’s… (I’m going to be an aunt in 6 months! Can’t wait!)
Got a bunch of lovely pressies (including the dark curtains I wanted for my bedroom! Yay!), and spent a very enjoyable evening.
Anyway, got to work now…
